Tabby FAQs

1. How does Split in 4 work?

When you Split in 4, we split your purchase into 4 equal payments. We collect the first payment when your order ships. The remaining 3 payments are collected every month. There's no interest, ever.

2. How does Split in 4 work?

Basically, Tabby accept currencies in the countries they operate in. In U.A.E, the currency will be A.E.D

3. What is the maximum limit set by tabby on Storeus?

The limit set by tabby for new users is 1500 A.E.D. However, if you are not a new user you can use tabby for higher amounts.

4. What happens if I miss a payment?

Tabby is committed to responsible spending which is why every purchase is carefully considered before they are approved. You will receive regular reminders before any due payments to avoid missing them. If Tabby is unable to collect payments on the scheduled day, you will no longer be able to make purchases with Tabby until the dues are paid.

5. How do I make a payment?

When you use Visa and MasterCard cards to shop with Tabby, your payments are automatically charged based on a payment schedule shown at the time of purchase. Once you’ve successfully made a purchase with Tabby, you will receive an email with your payment schedule for your reference. Tabby will also send you reminders of upcoming payments.

6. What are the types of cards accepted by Tabby?

Tabby currently accepts all major debit and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa). Prepaid cards are not accepted.

7. How do I know when I need to pay?

After receiving your order, Tabby will let you know by email and SMS notifications when your payment is due. You can also see all your upcoming due payments in your Tabby account.

8. Will I be auto-charged when my payment is due?

Yes, if you paid by a credit card Visa, or MasterCard, you will be auto-charged a payment when it's due. However, if you pay with a MADA (a debit card issued by local banks that allows a cardholder to access funds in their accounts), we will send you an SMS reminder before the payment due date to make the payment through your Tabby account.

A collection charge of 15 AED is charged a day after a payment is due. If you have not repaid for another two weeks, an additional collection charge of 30 AED is applied.

9. I received an error when trying to make a payment. What should I do?

Here’s what we recommend you to try to make a successful payment:

  • Make sure that you logged in with the same email that you registered on Tabby App.
  • Make sure that you have sufficient funds.
  • Make sure that you entered all card information correctly.
  • Try again with another card or Apple Pay.

10. How do refunds & returns work with Tabby?

In the cancellation case: if you wanted to cancel an order that you paid by tabby you click on the cancel option near your order number and the money will be refunded automatically to tabby, the transaction will take 2 to 4 working days.

In case of return case: once your return request is accepted, then we will send you a receipt of the refund done from Storeus side so you can give it to tabby, the transaction will take 14-21 working days depending on your bank. The refund will be automatically reflected on your Tabby's account and any due payment related to it canceled.
