How long do we keep your personal information?
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies.
For example, in order to satisfy Anti Money Laundering, Know Your Customer requirements and for address verification purposes, users of Storeus.com are required to provide their personal details, passport copy or government ID and proof of address. This information remains encrypted on the data storage server we use until the user requests to delete their profile. Upon such а request, users who have no outstanding payments can close their accounts. Under UAE Federal Law No 2 of 2015 Commercial Companies, it is our obligation to retain records for five years, unless in the cases related to real estate where the retention policy is fifteen.
